The purpose of life is EVOLUTION balanced by the forces of INVOLUTION.  Symptoms are the MECHANISM for healing of the body and mind. Carl Jung insinuated that they are the ‘rebellion of the soul’. At the very least, they serve as messengers. Main tenet of Homeopathy \u2014 Like accompanies like, Like echoes like. In doing so, Like cures like \u2014 It\u2019s my humble re-framing of what Samuel Hahnemann (the amazing founder of homeopathy) said 250+ years ago. Homeopathy does not heal anyone or anything. It only provides impulses for self-discovery, reveals where the dissonance is, and healing may emanate from that as a secondary reaction. This is the medicine of (and for) the past, present, and future<\/em>, that has been evolving over the past two centuries!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Remedies<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Homeopathic remedy pictures are developed in \u201cprovings\u201d, and the remedies themselves are prepared in a manner that removes toxicity that is often found in conventional medicines and drugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samuel Hahnemann strongly encouraged provings. “Prove all things, hold fast to what is good, dare to be wise” was the substance of his advice to his son. Not only does that help reveal the healing power of every substance, it is also the way to enhance health and self-awareness.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Homeopathy Insights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The word Homeopathy comes from the Greek roots “homoios” and “pathos”, meaning “similar suffering”. Simply put, Homeopathy works on the the principle of similars, whereby the very substance that causes a set of symptoms in its crude form, can address and may heal the same symptoms in its diluted and potentized form, through sheer resonance and affirmation of the suffering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, homeopathically-prepared coffee is used to ‘treat’ some kinds of insomnia. Homeopathic ipecac (formerly used in first aid kits to induce vomiting in cases of accidental poisoning) has been observed to stop vomiting in some acute cases of stomach bugs, or in other vomiting scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, in observation and conclusion of this pleasant side-effect that ensues from the affirmation of similar suffering as a ‘cure’, homeopathy is often seen as medicine, when it is not at all that in the conventional sense of the word. In fact, it is pitted against – interpreted through the lens of, compared and debated with, etc. – conventional and other types of natural and complementary therapeutics. Unfortunately, that is why it fails when it does, because its truth and intention is not understood nor appreciated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In reality, homeopathy is not about erasing suffering<\/strong>, but<\/strong> about<\/strong> affirming<\/strong>. It is about bearing witness to the soul\u2019s resonance<\/strong> with an archetype of dissonance. It brings awareness and insight, and that<\/em> becomes the healing impetus. \u201cHomeopathy introduces the soul to its own frequency pattern – gently, compassionately, and in resonance – so that the story it no longer needs can dissolve on its own.\u201d This philosophy honors the truth that – it is not to fight disease, it is not to label dysfunction, it is to listen so precisely that the body feels safe enough to change IF it chooses.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the system is not ready, or this truth is not understood properly, some effects might be undesirable. To a homeopath these effects provide incredible insight, and help guide the process.  So, in essence every effect on the physical plane is a secondary (side) effect in homeopathy. And, every such effect – whether it is a healing effect or a discomforting effect, is of importance that helps understand the unique expression of a particular person (system) even better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contrarily, it is touted to be without side-effects in the conventional sense of the word because remedies do not have a pharmacological effect, as they carry no trace of the original material substance. Conventional (Newtonian) science labels a homeopathic remedy a placebo – since there is nothing in it, and also calls it dangerous for that same reason – which only speaks to the enigma of homeopathy. For sure, the effectiveness of homeopathy does not lie in chemical action or conventional pharmacology, but through a medium which is purely energetic or informational. To add to the illusions already surrounding homeopathy, it is common to hear the word \u201chomeopathic\u201d as a general term meaning \u201cnatural\u201d or \u201cherbal\u201d – needless to say, this is incorrect. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
